RES-Education is a company specialized in wind power education. We offer tailor-made courses in close cooperation with companies in the wind power business; manufacturers, project developers and power companies operating wind power plants. We are specialized in distance teaching, which is a cost and time effective way of teaching. We also host traditional classroom courses, or a combination of the two.

RES-Education teaches wind power at Folkuniversitetet in Gotenburg, Sweden. The course covers the environmental aspects of energy production in general and wind power specifically. Both on-shore and off-shore aspects are discussed. Spatial planning, noise, shadow and visual aspects are other topics addressed in this course

November. Visit to Cleveland, Ohio and Ann Arbor, Michigan. In Cleveland Tore made a presentation at Case Western Reserve University, together with Åke Pettersson Frykberg, CEO of ReWind Offshore AB, on offshore windpower project development, based on experiences from windfarms in Lake Vänern in Sweden.

In Ann Arbor Tore and Åke participated in a 2-day workshop on environment impacts from freshwater offshore windpower, organized by the Great Lakes Windpower Colloborative, and made presentations about the environment impact assessments for these windfarms in Sweden. 


RES-Education organizes a two day educational conference together with Gotland University. Wind power basics, wind resources, wind power grid and economy are among the subject taught. A study visit to Näsudden wind park is also organized
